SJ Belangel fueled Daegu KOGAS to an 80-68 upset of second-seeded Anyang KGC in the Korean Basketball League.

The Pegasus’ floor general erupted for 23 points, eight assists, and four rebounds, outshining Rhenz Abando, who was limited to just two points and one rebound.

Daegu snapped Anyang’s three-game winning streak and secured its 15th win of the season.

The Red Boosters, meanwhile, dropped to a 30-17 record, now tied with Seoul SK Knights.

In the other matchup, Wonju DB returned to the win column after fending off Suwon KT, 69-66, behind Ethan Alvano’s nine points, four assists, and three rebounds.

The Sonicboomers appeared to miss the steady presence of JD Cagulangan, who had been a stabilizing force before suffering a season-ending injury.

Wonju now sits solo in fourth place with a 28-20 record, while Suwon continues to chase the sixth spot from Goyang after slipping to 22-25.
