HOBE Macway Travel clinched a semifinal berth in the 2017 Republica Cup commercial division basketball tournament with a 112-104 win over AMA Online Education on Tuesday at the Malolos Sports and Convention Center.
Shooster Olago scored 17 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter to preserve the win for Hobe Macway Travel and finish the commercial division elimination round with a 2-2 card.
Hobe also staved off the 47-point effort of Robbie Herndon in picking up the victory as AMA dropped to 1-4.
Hobe awaits its seeding in the semifinals with undefeated Racal Ceramica facing Baliwag on Friday in Malolos.
