SAN Beda and Philippine Christian University-Dasmarinas clinched playoff berths in the 3x3 Golden League Manila at the Dumlao Sports Center in Mandaluyong City.
San Beda swept Pool Q after beating Tondo, EDSCI 2 and Dasma Ballers on Saturday, while the PCU-Dasmarinas squad overcame Calansanz, Elivate and Unicorn in Pool O to join the 22 teams who have earlier clinched berths in the knockout phase of the tournament with Allan Caidic as commissioner and MediaPro Asia and SINA Sports as organizers.
Also moving on to the knockout phase were Batang Cubao, Metrostar Realty, FEU-NRMF A, Finance, IMET, Savio Juniors.
The champion team will receive US$3,000 (PP160,000) and will represent the Philippines in the SINA 3x3 International Elite League from November 13 to 17 in Beijing.
The tournament drew teams from the different parts of Metro Manila and provinces. Guest team ABA Prefecture from Tibet is also playing but not eligible for the top prize.
