DEFENDING champion San Beda dominated Emilio Aguinaldo College, 75-48, in the FilOil Flying V Premier Cup 2018 in San Juan on Friday.
The Red Lions now hold a 7-2 card, as the Generals remained winless at 0-9.
Power forward Kemark Carino led the Red Lions with 11 points and three caroms, together with Eugene Toba, who contributed 10 points and a game-high 11 rebounds.
The Mendiola-based squad established a good start in the first period with a 12-point lead, sustaining it with a 57-27 headstart to begin the second half.
The team made 29 of their 80 field goal attempts, good for 36 percent.
Coach Boyet Fernandez proffered the victory to the unending support of the Bedan Alumni, saying "our responsibility is to try to win every game for our alumni."
He also commended the team's overall performance in the tournament quarterfinals.
"I am happy that the players simply played their game, we practiced our defensive plays... to prepare for our future games, especially the NCAA," Fernandez said.
Maui Cruz and Vincente Robin posted a total of 17 points for the Generals in a losing effort.
