ROBERT Bolick led San Beda's comeback from four points down late in regulation before completing the comeback win over Perpetual Help in overtime, 64-61, on Friday in the Filoil Flying V Preseason Premier Cup.

Bolick's heroics saved the Red Lions from a stinging upset as they kept their unbeaten record intact at 4-0 to lead Group A.

Down by four with 18.8 seconds left in the fourth, Bolick scored a quick lay-up for the Red Lions, who later took advantage of two missed free throws by Flash Sadiwa to keep themselves in the game.

Bolick sank a follow-up shot with 0.8 seconds left on the clock to tie the match at 55 before Jeff Coronel missed an attempt to force overtime.

San Beda took command in overtime as Benedict Adamos converted a triple with 1:36 remaining in overtime to give the Red Lions a 63-59 lead in a thrilling match between the two NCAA squads.

But Red Lions coach Boyet Fernandez was adamant his team didn't deserve the victory over the Altas.

"Even if it's an ugly game, at least we got the win. But again, if I'll be allowed to give that game, it should be Perpetual. Perpetual deserves to win. We don't deserve this win. We were just lucky they missed their foul shots, we made our shots in the regulation," said Fernandez.

Bolick topscored for the Red Lions with 12 points although he only made 1-of-4 foul shots in the final seconds of overtime. San Beda clinched the victory when Keith Pido failed to hit on a final three-point shot of the game.
