THE Philippines won for the second straight time in the SEABA Under-16 Championship by routing Thailand, 105-48, on Friday night in Cagayan De Oro City.
Samjosef Belangel had 16 points, eight assists, and eight steals for Batang Gilas, who raised their mark to 2-0.
So dominant were the Nationals they led by as many as 59 points in a game that saw the Thais score only seven points in the final quarter.
Will Gozum had 13 points, Rhayyan Amsali added 12, while Romulo Berjay had 11 and eight rebounds for the the host country, which will next face Brunei on Saturday.
