The Green Archers recorded their third win in as many outings to take the lead in Group A.
Also staying unbeaten in Group A of the 25-under division were University of the East and Malolos Mighty Bulacan State University.
Marc Acuno had nine points and six rebounds as the Red Warriors beat Ateneo, 53-48, while Den De Leon added 10 points in Bulsu’s 51-49 win over Our Lady of Fatima University.
University of Sto. Tomas got twin victories to gain a 2-2 record in the tournament sponsored by Milcu and sanctioned by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas.
Marvin Lee had 14 points in UST’s 62-33 win over Lyceum-B, while Renzo Subido scored 13 points in the Tigers’ 50-42 victories over Far Eastern University.
In Group B, St. Clare College stayed unbeaten with a 68-58 win over Enderun Colleges for a 2-0 win-loss slate. Aristotle Dionisio had 17 points for the Saints.
Wilson Baltazar scored 19 points as Lyceum-A downed MLQU, 65-48, in the tournament also backed by Basketball TV, Gatorade, Clyde Shoe Cleaner, Kawasaki, LGR, SLAM, Rain or Shine, Honda, Coach Athletic Trainers Tape, Secret Fresh, Mighty Sports, and Nousha Kebabs and Barbeque.
