RHENZ Abando balled out for Anyang KGC as they routed RJ Abarrientos and Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus, 100-86, on Wednesday in the 2022-23 KBL season at the Dongchun Gymnasium.
The Filipino high-flyer erupted for 20 points, three rebounds, two steals, two blocks, and one assist in 30 minutes of play before fouling out with 6:12 left. By then, Anyang has already silenced the home crowd as it led by as much as 29 points.

Ulsan tried to stage a late rally, but it could only get to within 12 late in the game as Anyang remained on top of the standings at 22-9 heading to the KBL All-Star Game this weekend.
Oh Se Keun contributed 18 points, six boards, and six dimes while Omari Spellman chimed in 17 points on 3-of-4 shooting from beyond the arc, to go with seven rebounds and three assists in the win.
Abarrientos, who is the lone Asian import to be part of the midseason festivities, was held to just six points on 2-of-9 shooting from deep alongside four assists and three steals as Ulsan fell to 17-14.
Gaige Prim led the Phoebus with 23 points, 10 boards, three assists, two steals, and a block.
Nonetheless, Abando and Abarrientos will link up with Daegu KOGAS Pegasus' SJ Belangel as they represent Team Philippines in the KBL All-Star 3x3 on Saturday at Suwon KT Arena.
The Filipinos will take on Team KBL which will have Anyang KGC's Byeon Jun Hyung, Goyang Carrot Jumpers' Lee Jung Hyun, and Seoul SK Knights' Kim Sun Hyung.
This will be the first time that the trio will team up since being part of the Gilas Pilipinas crew inside the Clark bubble in the 2022 Fiba Asia Cup qualifiers back in June 2021.
