RHENZ Abando put on a show at the 2023 KBL All-Star, winning the Slam Dunk Contest on Sunday at Suwon KT Arena.
The Anyang KGC was given a perfect 100 points for his two dunks in the midseason festivities.

Abando scored his first 50 in the first round with a two-handed 360 slam, a two-handed baseline alley-oop off an RJ Abarrientos pass off the side of the board, and a top-board reverse dunk.

His second round also was impressive, first with a reverse two-handed windmill and then a one-handed windmill which also got 50 from the judges.
The former NCAA MVP claimed the KRW2 million (around P88,000) cash prize.
Abando bested Suwon KT SonicBoom's Ha Yun-gi (90 points), Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus' Choi Jin-soo (89), and Goyang Carrot Jumpers' Park Jin-cheol (87).
RJ Abarrientos, meanwhile, failed to progress in the Three-Point Shootout.
The Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus gunner only had 13 points in his run as he missed the cut with only the top four progressing.
Heo Ung of the Jeonju KCC Egis ruled the event, scoring 19 points to topple Ulsan's Kim Gook-chan's 13 in the championship round.
Goyang Carrot Jumpers' Jeon Seong-hyeon and Seoul SK Knights' Choi Jun-yong also made it through to the semifinals.
