RHENZ Abando once again got the better of Kevin Quiambao in Anyang Jung Kwan Jang's 78-75 home win against Goyang Sono Skygunners in the 2025-26 Korean Basketball League (KBL) standings on Sunday.
Abando shot two three-pointers to highlight his 11 points, four assists, three assists, three blocks, and one steal to keep the league pacesetters' win streak alive at five and rise to an 8-2 (win-loss) record.
Quiambao, on the other hand, fired 16 points, grabbed four boards, one assist, and one block in the Skygunners' 8th defeat in 11 games.

The loss was a downer after Goyang earned the 74-64 home win against Carl Tamayo's Changwon LG Sakers on Saturday where the Gilas Pilipinas stud only had six points, seven rebounds, and four assists.
Tamayo, for his part, was limited to three points in 17 minutes in that defeat.
Fortunately for the former University of the Philippines forward, he redeemed himself in Changwon's 80-75 road win against Seoul SK Knights on Sunday at Jamsil Student Gymnasium, lighting it up with 24 points built on four treys, eight boards, four dimes, and one rejection as the defending champion Sakers climbed to an 8-3 record.
Arvin Tolentino got 12 points, two rebounds, and one block in Seoul's seventh in 11 games.

Daegu KOGAS Pegasus also scored a 71-60 road upset of Suwon KT SonicBoom on Sunday for their second win in 12 games.
SJ Belangel went 2-of-5 from distance for his 18 points, which went with five rebounds and two assists as Daegu snapped a two-game skid.
JD Cagulangan tallied six points, three steals, two assists, and one board for Suwon, which fell to a 7-4 slate.
In the other games on Saturday, Seoul Samsung Thunders protected home court with a 100-77 victory over Busan KCC Egis at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium.
Justin Gutang nabbed eight points, five assists, three rebounds, three steals, and one block for Busan, which has now won three straight to level its standing at 5-5.
William Navarro was scoreless in three minutes of action for the 6-4 Egis, which lost back-to-back games.
Wonju DB Promy also escaped with an 86-81 home win against Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus.
Ethan Alvano presided over that conquest with 22 points from three triples, on top of five rebounds, five assists, and two steals for the 7-4 Promy, which have now won three consecutive games.
Migs Oczon, on the other hand, was not fielded by the 4-7 Phoebus in its third successive loss.
