Rey Nambatac waxes hot as Letran stays unbeaten under new coach Jeff Napa

Rey Nambatac sizzled for 20 points in the win over San Sebastian.

REY Nambatac scored 20 points as Letran-A beat San Sebastian, 90-78, for its third win in the 22nd Fr. Martin Cup summer basketball tournament at the Arellano gym.

JP Calvo added 14 points while Jerick Balanza chipped in 12 points for the Knights, who took the solo lead in Jeff Napa's first test as Letran coach.

The Knights, who also beat Jose Rizal University-A and Emilio Aguinaldo College, are in first place in Group B.

In the juniors division, Far Eastern University-Diliman leaned on LJ Gonzales to beat La Salle Greenhills-A, 86-66.

Gonzales poured in 25 points for the Baby Tamaraws, who also improved to 3-0 for top spot in Group A.
