HOBE Macway Travel defeated Malolos Mighty, 90-88, on Sunday in the Republica Cup basketball tournament at the Malolos Sports and Convention Center.
Sunday Salvacion had 17 points including key baskets late in the game to help Hobe Macway notch its third win in as many games in Group B.
TY Tang missed a potential game-winning triple as Malolos Mighty suffered its first loss.
Kevin Ferrer had 16 points for Malolos Mighty.
In the other game, Sea Lions-Alpha Dogs beat AMA Online Education, 80-69.
