RAIZA Palmera-Dy once again showed the way for Glutagence as the Glow Boosters grabbed their second consecutive win, a 75-60 decision over Quezon Lady SparTAN on Saturday in the Pia Cayetano WNBL Season 2021 at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center in San Fernando, Pampanga.
The former national standout and 2011 UAAP MVP had 22 points, nine rebounds, eight assists, and two steals as Palmera led the Glow Boosters’ pullaway in the fourth quarter when they outscored the Lady Spartan, 26-6.
Palmera-Dy scored five straight points, a lay-up off a crossover move and a triple for the biggest lead of the game, 75-58.
Those baskets capped off a 21-0 blast by Glutagence after it trailed, 58-54, at the end of the third.
Micah Figuracion had 13 points while Khate Castillo added 12 points for the Glow Boosters. Carol Sangalang had eight points, eight rebounds, and four assists for Glutagence.
Kristine Duran had 12 points for the Lady SparTAN.
