Racal routs winless San Ildefonso to move on verge of Republica Cup elims sweep

RACAL Ceramica moved a win away from sweeping the 2017 Republica Cup commercial division eliminations after beating Team San Ildefonso, 123-90, on Sunday night at the Baliwag Star Arena in Bulacan.

Lervin Flores and Gab Dagangon finished with 16 points each for the Tile Masters, who racked up their fourth win in their penultimate match of the elimination round.

Racal goes for a sweep on Friday against Team Baliwag at the Malolos Sports and Convention Center.

Flores and Dagangon combined for 19 of Racal’s 35 points in the third period to put the game away for the Tile Masters.

Japs Bautista had 31 points for the winless San Ildefonso squad that ended the tournament with an 0-5 mark.
