GOYANG Sono stayed red-hot in the Korean Basketball League, storming back for an 85-76 win over Changwon LG in Game 2 of their best-of-five semifinals on Saturday.
Still unbeaten in the playoffs, the Skygunners stole a second straight road game to take a commanding 2-0 series lead, while also placing the Sakers on the edge of elimination.
Kevin Quiambao bounced back from a quiet Game 1, finishing with 23 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, and a steal to lead Goyang Sono’s comeback.

The Sakers came out firing, controlling the first half and building a 43-34 lead at the break, but the Skygunners flipped the script in the third, chipping away at the deficit and closing within one, 60-59, heading into the final quarter.
Quiambao then came alive, spearheading their takeover with a 26-16 fourth-quarter surge to complete the comeback.
Carl Tamayo led Changwon LG with 18 points, four rebounds, and an assist.
The two teams meet again on April 27, with the Sakers fighting to stay alive and Goyang Sono eyeing the sweep on its home floor.
