Quiambao shared the good news on his Instagram on Thursday, as he is expected to join his new team in the coming week.

It couldn't come at a better time for Goyang Sono which is in dire need of a boost, sitting with a 9-17 win-loss record in the Korean Basketball League (KBL).

Quiambao, too, is driven to make up for lost time no thanks to his delayed flight, as he hopes to bring his prowess to the Land of the Morning Calm after a runner-up finish for La Salle in the UAAP Season 87 men's basketball tournament.
