KEVIN Quiambao once again sparked Goyang Sono to a commanding 98-75 victory over the Seoul Samsung in the Korean Basketball League on Sunday.
The Gilas Pilipinas forward posted 15 points, eight rebounds, and six assists in 31 minutes to keep the Skygunners firmly in the playoff hunt.
Despite the loss, Justin Gutang turned in a solid effort for the Thunders with 16 points, eight rebounds, and one assist in 21 minutes.

Elsewhere, Carl Tamayo finished with 19 points, three rebounds, and two assists to lead the Changwon LG Sakers to a 77-69 win over the Wonju DB Promy.
Ethan Alvano had a quiet outing for Wonju with five points, two rebounds, and four assists in 35 minutes.

In other results, the Anyang KGC Red Boosters escaped the Busan KCC Egis, 91-86, though both Rhenz Abando and William Navarro did not see action.
Arvin Tolentino and Seoul SK Knights also turned back the JD Cagulangan-less Suwon KT Sonicboom, 75-69, while SJ Belangel and Daegu KOGAS Pegasus defeated Jake Figeroa’s Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus, 84-74.
Ulsan later bounced back with an 85-74 win over Busan, with Figueroa and Navarro both listed as DNP.
