PRINCE Orizu had 12 points and eight rebounds as Far Eastern University beat Adamson, 75-64, on Tuesday in the Filoil Flying V Preseason Cup in San Juan.
The Tamaraws got back to their winning ways following their loss to College of Saint Benilde, improving their record to 4-1.
“I always look forward to those match-ups against UAAP teams. That’s time you can really gauge kung nasaan na kayo sa preparations niyo,” said FEU coach Olsen Racela.
The Tamaraws had a balanced offense, with Jasper Parker scoring nine points, and Arvin Tolentino and Barkley Ebona chipping in eight points each.
“We played well during the first half pero there were a lot of mental lapses that Adamson capitalized and took advantage of,” said Racela.
Sean Manganti had 20 points, while Papi Sarr had 13 points for the Falcons, who dropped to their first loss of the tournament after three games.
