THE Philippine National Police Responders and Senate Sentinels try to keep their places in teh top two as they take on separate rivals on Sunday in the 2nd UNTV Cup Executive Face-Off at the Pasig City Sports Center.
The Responders look to extend their winning streak to five games as they battle the DOJ Boosters at 5 p.m. in the tournament that offers P1 million to the chosen charity of the champion team.
The Sentinels face the Ombudsman Graftbusters at 2 p.m.
Leading the Responders are Joel De Mesa, Anthony Padua, Ireneo Dalogdog, Philip Gil Philips, and Israel Dickson who showed the way in the 98-50 win over the GSIS Furies.
Bannered by Warren Tan and Sen. Joel Villanueva, the Sentinels are looking to nail their fourth straight win after encountering huge scare before prevailing 79-77 over the defending champion Armed Forces.
The Graftbusters, on the other hand, are coming off a 69-61 victory over the DOJ Boosters for a 2-1 record.
