PCU Dolphins, Lyceum Subic stay alive in Naascu semifinals

PHILIPPINE Christian University and Lyceum Subic Bay forced rubber matches in the semifinals of the 16th National Athletic Association for Schools, Colleges and Universities men’s basketball tournament at the Rizal Technological University gym.

The Dolphins overcame Our Lady of Fatima University, 84-63, in the second game of their semifinal series.

Von Tambeling had 26 points and Mike Ayonayon scored 24 points for the Dolphins, who took a 68-52 third-quarter lead and cruised to victory.

The Sharks defeated St. Clare College, 81-76.

Cameroonian import Fabrice Siewe had 35 points as the Sharks tied the series with the Saints.

The deciding games will be played on Monday.
