RACAL Caida Tiles notched its second straight win even as Sta. Lucia finally grabbed a victory in the Pilipinas Commercial Basketball League Founders Cup on Wednesday at The Arena in San Juan.
Billy Ray Robles had 19 points, Dexter Maiquez scored 14 and Ford Ruaya added 10 points as Caida defeated Jumbo Plastic Linoleum, 94-82.
The Realtors, meanwhile, leaned on Wowie Escosio’s 19-point, nine-rebound effort to turn back Supremo Lex, 77-71.
Caida took the solo lead in the team standings with a 2-0 win-loss slate, while Sta. Lucia notched its first win after losing to Racal Kama Motors in its first outing of the conference.
The Realtors were leading, 73-71, when Raymond Ilagan sank a basket with 27 seconds to play to make it a four-point game before Robby Celiz hit two free throws to settle the final score.
