DASMARIÑAS — A win delayed won’t be a win denied.
ZUS Coffee earned its discarded debut win back by thwarting Chery Tiggo EV, 25-15, 19-25, 25-20, 25-23, in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference on Saturday at the City of Dasmariñas Arena.
Its supposed five-set win over Akari on Tuesday, voided by a brief PVL-PNVF impasse, has instead been replaced by a commanding four-set rout.

American winger Anna DeBeer, the youngest reinforcement this season at 24 years old, churned out 37 points on 35 attacks, a block and an ace along with 14 rececptions in her overseas pro league debut.
She becomes the 41st player and 23rd import to join the 30-point club in the league’s eight-year history, two days after Farm Fresh’s Helene Rousseaux dropped 38 at the same Cavite venue.
"It just makes the anticipation higher and the excitement more exciting. It’s really out of our control so I really wasn’t stressing and worrying too much and just really working hard this week to be ready for today," said DeBeer.
Rookie midlde blocker AC Miner backed DeBeer at the frontlines with 13 points on 10 attacks and three blocks.
Trouble crossing over
DeBeer and the Thunderbelles also spoiled the sought-after return of 2022 Reinforced Conference MVP Mylene Paat after a 410-day layoff from a right foot injury.
Chery Tiggo import Yuni Batista had a sluggish start she nearly made amends for with a 22-point performance paired with eight digs and six receptions.
Ara Galang kept her preseason luster shining with 15 markers built on 12 attacks and three blocks, but not enough to complete a late comeback from a set down.
