DASMARINAS, Cavite - A heated exchange between San Miguel gunner Terrence Romeo and Rain or Shine coach Yeng Guiao marred the end of Game 3 of their PBA Philippine Cup semifinal series on Wednesday night.
Guiao confronted Romeo just as the buzzer sounded after the veteran shooting guard attempted a late three-pointer with four seconds left anfd the outcome of the game already decided at the new Dasmarinas Arena City.

Expletives were exchanged by both after Guiao confronted Romeo about the basket which pegged the final score at 117-107.
Several officials of San Miguel and Guiao also exchanged words in a chaotic scene at midcourt that marred a victory that gave the top-seeded Beermen a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.
Coach Jorge Gallent said he felt Guiao was offended by Romeo attempting a shot in San Miguel's final possession despite the victory already at hand
"Well that's coach Yeng's opinion about it," he said later. "But for us, we're just playing basketball."
Romeo actually accounted for San Miguel's last five points. He finished with 13 points, all scored in the fourth quarter.
He was 6-of-16 from the field and was 0-for-6 from beyond the arc until hitting that three-point shot that got the ire of Guiao.
Romeo by the way is from Imus, Cavite.
