TNT will be having another former Houston Rocket for an import in the coming PBA Governors’ Cup.
The Tropang Giga tapped 24-year-old Darius Days as reinforcement as they try to retain their title for Season 49 which comes off the wraps on August 18.
Team manager Jojo Lastimosa confirmed to SPIN.ph the signing of Days owing to the unavailability of Rondae Hollis-Jefferson

A product of Louisiana State, Days played for the Rockets in the 2022-23 NBA season after going undrafted.
Two major TNT imports in the past also donned the Rockets jersey in Terrence Jones and KJ McDaniels. Jones eventually won Best Import and led the Tropang Giga to a runner-up finish behind San Miguel in the 2019 Commissioner’s Cup.
In between his stint with Houston on a two-way contract, Days spent time playing for the Rockets’ G League affiliate Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
By the end of the season, he was named part of the G League Second Team and G League All-Rookie Team.
Days is coming off a stint with the Winnipeg Sea Bears in Canada.

The import though, will carry a chip on his shoulders as the Tropang Giga will defend the title they last won in 2023 with Best Import Rondae Hollis-Jefferson around.
The 29-year-old Hollis-Jefferson is currently in Puerto Rico playing for Mets De Guaynabo.
