A PBA comeback is always possible for William Navarro especially if the league lifts the three year ban imposed on him.
The soft-spoken forward said anything can happen now especially he’s been out of the Korean Basketball League after parting ways with Busan KCC Egis.
“Hopefully, why not,” said Navarro on coming back in Asia’s pioneering pro league at the sidelines of the Strong Group Athletics’ Media Day for its coming three-peat campaign in the Jones Cup.
“Naka-ban ako, e. If tanggalin nila yun, babalik ako.”

Navarro was among those affected by the league’s decision to ban players who refused to sign contract offers by their mother teams and instead, play in other domestic league or foreign tournaments for three years.
The 29-year-old product of Ateneo rejected the contract renewal offered to him by Magnolia and instead, chose to take his act in the KBL.
His playing rights has since been traded by the Hotshots to the Titan Ultra Giant Risers in exchange for Arvin Tolentino.
Navarro won a championship with KCC Egis, but was let go by the team a few weeks after its successful title run.
He was unsigned by any team shortly after until the call from SGA came.
Navarro admitted his case with the PBA is currently on appeal.
“We’re just waiting what they’re (PBA) gonna say,” he said. “Whatever happens, happens”
Right now, Navarro said the focus is with SGA, which will be gunning for a third straight Jones Cup championship.
“I’m just going to prepare for this moment. Whatever happens in the future, wala pa,” he said. “After nito, I don’t know what’s going to happen next.”
