ASIDE from injuries, illnesses have hit Magnolia and two key players in Ian Sangalang and Rome dela Rosa have not seen action for a couple of games.
Sangalang has not played for two games including Wednesday’s contest against NLEX due to a suspected case of typhoid fever.

Dela Rosa, on the other hand, is a confirmed case, according to Magnolia assistant coach Jason Webb, and has also not played over the past two matches.
Both players though were present in the game against NLEX on Wednesday.
Rome de la Rosa has been unable to see action for two days.
Sangalang and Dela Rosa missing games have not gravely affected the team as Magnolia continued its winning ways with a 111-97 win over NLEX.
Webb said it has been a collective effort on the players to step up with Nick Rakocevic also coming off a freak accident but escaped serious injury in their TNT match.
Magnolia coach Chito Victolero is also injured, having underwent surgery to repair a torn Achilles tendon.
“When things were going wrong, we looked at the players and the coaches. They just look at each other and able to draw inspiration from each other,” said Webb.
Webb hopes that Sangalang and Dela Rosa would be available in their next match against NorthPort on Sunday.
