    Jan 2, 2018
Love found on the hard court turn out to be most special for these couples.

OVER the years, SPIN.ph has put together a number of hit WAGS (wives and girlfriends) articles featuring models, actresses and beauty queens.

But this one is quite special, as we've only found out love that blossomed in the hard court between basketball stars and courtside reporters more often that not prove to be the perfect match - thanks to a bond forged by a common love for the game.

Let's meet some of these lovely couples:

    Vince and Patricia Hizon

    14 years of ??

They started it all. Who hasn't seen the fairytale proposal of then Ginebra star Vince Hizon to then courtside reporter Patricia Bermudez on center court on June 8, 2003.

More than a decade later, Mrs. Hizon is living every girl’s dream.

Vince and Patricia are now happily married and blessed with two beautiful boys, Vicente and Paul. They are also still deeply involved in basketball - Vince being a Blackwater consultant and Patricia now the head of Sports5.

    Von Pessumal and Laura Lehmann

What started out as teasing among friends turned into a long and lasting relationship for San Miguel guard Von Pessumal and Laura Lehmann, who are now on their third year as a couple.

They found love back when Pessumal was still a sophomore forward for Ateneo and Lehmann was a UAAP courtside reporter covering the Blue Eagles.

Now they stand side by side and support each other while reaching for their dreams - Von now a PBA player for San Miguel and Lau recently crowned the Miss World Philippines.

    Jeron Teng and Jeanine Tsoi

    Merry Christmas!????????

A post shared by Jeron Teng (@jeronalvinteng) on Dec 24, 2017 at 8:48am PST

It seemed the Green Archers' logo came to life and played the role of cupid in the case of the relationship between former King Archer Jeron Teng and UAAP courtside reporter Jeanine Tsoi.

Just years ago, Jeanine was the courtside reporter assigned to the Green Archers who couldn't help but get worried for Jeron when the game gets physical. The couple crowned their college relationship with a UAAP championship for La Salle.

Now Jeanie is still very much supportive as Jeron chases his PBA dream.

    Kevin Alas and Selina Dagdag.

Dubbed as AlDag, NLEX guard Kevin Alas and PBA courtside reporter Selina Dagdag gave the league its best 'kilig moment' last season.

    How?

Well, Alas was named Player of the Game and who was tasked to interview him but Selina. The interview was understandably a little awkward, but Kevin made the biggest move of the game by stealing a kiss from the courtside reporter then dashing off to the dugout.

    Panalo!

    Davon Potts and Rizza Diaz

Ever since the two began dating, Alaska rookie Davon Potts and PBA mainstay Rizza Diaz became each other’s number one supporter in everything they do.

Although they were professional during games and in other basketball-related events, the two are fun to see when they spend some quality bae time.

A sneak trip to the beach and a quiet dinner date are just some of the couple’s bonding time.

    Jeff Cariaso and Erika Padilla

Their relationship wasn’t as publicized as their respective careers but nevertheless, their love for each other was enough to overcome all hurdles.
