BARANGAY Ginebra hasn't won all year, and it's coach has not won a PBA game in almost six years.
So can you blame the Gin Kings if they looked as if they had just won a championship at the end of a 93-72 victory over Barako Bull on Friday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
League MVP Mark Caguioa perhaps summed up the feelings inside the Ginebra dugout after the team's first win since December 14, which also happens to be Chua's first win as PBA coach since his last stint with the defunct Sta. Lucia team in 2007.
"It feels sooooo good," said the Ginebra superstar in the din of the celebrations inside the dugout.
Chua wore a wide grin as he congratulated the players one by one and delivered his post-game talk, but he turned serious when he put the win in its proper perspective.
"This is no time to celebrate, guys," he said. "We're 1-4 (win-loss)."
