JORDAN Adams sat out the final game of San Miguel in the PBA Governors’ Cup group stage Saturday against Blackwater as he recuperates from a right strained hamstring.
The high-scoring import was not in uniform, but joined the Beermen during their pre-game warm up at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
Adams hurt his hamstring during the fourth quarter of the Beermen’s game against the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters.
He went out with still eight minutes left in the fourth quarter and never returned as the Beermen absorbed a 122-112 loss.

It’s uncertain on when Adams would be able to get back in the active roster, considering the quarterfinals are set to kick off on Wednesday.
He averaged 33.6 points in eight games with the Beermen.
Adams was once replaced by Sheldon Mac, but management decided to bring him back after his replacement failed to live up expectations in a win over NLEX.
But should San Miguel relegate Adams to the injury/reserved list again, he’ll no longer eligible to come back for the team this season.
Entering the game against Blackwater, San Miguel totes a 6-3 record and needed a win if it is to stay on course for a possible top 2 finish in its group.
