IT was twice the pain for Star on Easter Sunday as Aldrech Ramos went out with a broken nose in the first half of the team’s 103-97 loss to San Miguel Beer in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
The Hotshots stretch forward took an unintentional elbow from Charles Rhodes as the SMB import was going for a layup late in the first quarter.
That left Ramos’ nose bloodied as he had to go to the hospital before halftime.
Star coach Chito Victolero bared the initial diagnosis was fracture.
“Fracture eh,” Victolero said. “ Maga pa kaya hindi pwede operahan. Baka tomorrow siguro.”
