PBA veteran Gary David is facing complaints filed by his wife before the Office of the City Prosecutor in Quezon City, according to documents obtained by SPIN.ph on Monday.

The complaint, filed Monday of last week by David's wife, the former Jenny Rose Santos, and one of the couple's four daughters, claimed violations of Republic Act 9262, otherwise known as the Anti-Violence Against Women and Children Act.

A separate complaint claimed David was in violation of RA 7610 or the Special Protection of Chidlren against Chid Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act.

According to the documents, the charges were filed following two incidents that happened in January of this year and in August of 2016.

David, 38, has been silent about the matter, although a person close to the former PBA scoring champion bared he will answer the charges at the right time and in the proper forum.

The Mahindra gunner is also planning to issue a statement after the Floodbuster's game against unbeaten San Miguel in the PBA Commissioner's Cup on Wednesday, a source added.

Documents also showed the complainant gave a different address to the respondent, bolstering speculations the couple are estranged and already living separately.
