THE PBA will summon San Miguel players Ronald Tubid, Kelly Nabong and other league personnel for their actions in the streaker incident that marred Game Five of their PBA Philippine Cup Finals against Magnolia.
All parties involved in the incident will appear on Wednesday before PBA commissioner Willie Marcial, who said officials are done collating all video evidence and eyewitness accounts of the first streaker incident in the league's history.
“Pinatawag ko lahat ng involved sa Wednesday,” said Marcial.
Paolo Felizarta, 31, disrupted Game Five of the Philippine Cup Finals when he entered the court in a Spiderman suit and ended up colliding with June Mar Fajardo and Christian Standhardinger before being collared by security officials.
As Felizarta was being escorted out of the court, Tubid was seen throwing a punch at the streaker. He later apologized for the incident, saying he lost his cool after seeing Fajardo get hurt in the collision.
Eyewitness accounts claimed Nabong threw a punch at another man which was tagged, wrongly, as an accomplice of Felizarta.
As for the streaker, Marcial said the league has filed alarm and scandal and unjust vexation charges on Wednesday.
“Nakakaso ‘yun. Naka-file tayo. Nakikiusap ‘yung nanay. Eh di mag-usap kami. Pero hindi pa ako kinakausap,” said Marcial.
