TROY Rosario has been cleared of any major injury following the nasty fall he suffered in the TNT KaTropa’s PBA Philippine Cup game against Phoenix on Wednesday night.

X-rays and CT scan results were negative of any damage to the neck and head bones of the 26-year-old Rosario, who hit his chin on the MOA Arena floor after he was under-cut by Phoenix rookie Jason Perkins.

Perkins appeared to have been pushed from behind by Kelly Williams, based on TV replays.

“Troy is cleared by ortho….no damage on neck and head bones,” according to team manager Virgil Villavicencio.

Still, the TnT stalwart was asked to stay overnight at the Makati Med for further observation, especially since Rosario earlier showed symptoms of concussion.

“He was referred to neuro for clearance,” Villavicencio said. ”The neuro doctor advised him to be admitted for one night for close supervision of possible relapse/aggravation of symptoms.”

Rosario's wife, Mich, also tweeted late Wednesday that the Gilas Pilipinas mainstay needed four stiches to close a chin wound but was cleared by doctors of any major injury.

“Right not, he is just complaining of mild dizziness, pain/spasm on neck muscles, and pain on both sides of the jaw.”

Villavicencio, though, made no guarantees that Rosario will be available for TNT's coming game against Barangay Ginebra this Saturday.

On Thursday afternoon, Rosario fired a tweet to reassure fans that he has already been discharged from hospital.

Rosario suffered the injury with just 24 seconds gone by in the final quarter and the Katropa protecting a slim 61-58 lead.

After the fall, Rosario laid on the floor for about 10 minutes before he made to wear a neck brace then wheeled out of the playing venue on a stretcher on the way to the hospital.

The former National University star scored four points, eight rebounds, and an assist in 20 minutes of play by the time he was taken out of the game, which the Fuel Masters won, 74-72.
