ANTIPOLO – Blackwater is set to get a boost with Troy Rosario returning soon to the fold in the PBA Governors’ Cup.
Bossing coach Ariel Vanguardia said Rosario is slated to join full-contact practices in the coming week after plantar fasciitis kept him out for a major part of the Commissioner’s Cup.
“Next week, mag-fa-five-on-five na,” said Vanguardia. “He might play on Wednesday but [next Saturday], definitely he is going to play.”

Blackwater will be tested in the coming week as it is scheduled to face San Miguel on Wednesday, and Meralco next Saturday.
The impending return of Rosario comes after the Bossing captured their first win in the Governors’ Cup at the expense of Phoenix Super LPG, 108-105.
Rosario has not played since October 14 in a Commissioner’s Cup win against Terrafirma that ended a seven-game losing streak.
Vanguardia hopes for a healthier Blackwater squad this conference.
“’Yan ang No. 1 priority namin this conference is to be healthy. We will see in the next four days how he blends well at kung makuha niya timing niya. It’s a huge upgrade and addition if he can play kahit mga 80 percent,” said Vanguardia.
