IT was a tune-up game that did more harm than good for TnT Katropa.

Two of the Katropa's big men including starter Troy Rosario won't be around in the early part of the season-opener PBA Philippine Cup due to injuries.

Rosario had his nose deformed courtesy of an inadvertent JR Quinahan elbow during the exhibition game between the Katropa and the NLEX Road Warriors held just before the New Year.

The injury left the 26-year-old Rosario bloodied in what was earlier suspected as a broken nose. The former National University star is expected to miss at least four to six weeks.

Yousef Taha also went down with an injury in that same exhibition match as he suffered a cut on his forehead following a rebound battle against Raul Soyud.

The wound only needed to be stitched although Taha was also left bloodied. Unlike Rosario, Taha will only be out for two weeks.
