DON Trollano shared that he quickly made peace with former mentor Yeng Guiao after a near late game scuffle marred the PBA Philippine Cup game between San Miguel and Rain or Shine.
The veteran wingman owed up to his wrongdoing that apparently earned the ire of Guiao during the two team’s out-of-town sortie in Cagayan De Oro.

A short reel that went viral on social media saw Guiao shouting expletives against Trollano following an inbound play in the final 17 seconds and the Beermen protecting a 118-111 lead.
Both Trollano and Adrian Nocum went down the floor, while Chris Ross and Jhonard Clarito tried to confront each other under the Rain or Shine basket.
And just as cooler heads tried to separate the protagonists, Guiao and Trollano were seen exchanging words on the sidelines, with both player and coach pointing fingers at each other.
Looking back, the 33-year-old Trollano said emotions got the better end of him, and he acknowledged that he did something wrong to the very same coach that gave him his PBA break.

“Nag apologize naman ako right after the game,” recalled the product of Adamson University.
“Nagulat din ako sa sarili ko, kaya nung pauwi kami sa (team) bus, parang nasa isip ko mali yung ginawa ko, sobrang nagsisi ako.”
Both Ross and Clarito were later whistled for technical fouls for second motion. Ten seconds later, Nocum was also called for a T for slapping the ball away from Ross even after being called for a foul.
The Beermen won the game, 120-111, as Trollano teamed up with CJ Perez in the homestretch to thwart a huge fourth quarter comeback by the Elasto Painters.
Trollano said everything is now all good between him and Guiao.
“Siyempre yung tatay nga at anak nagkakaron din ng…parang ganun lang yun,” was how the San Miguel stalwart described the incident.
Asked what the two of them told each other during the heated moment, Trollano let out a wide grin.
“Sabi ko lang ‘I love you, coach,’” he said. “Basta yun na yun.”
Despite the incident, Trollano said he maintains the love and respect he have for the 66-year-old Guiao, who was the one who gambled on Trollano by picking him in the second round of the 2015 draft (no.15 overall) for Rain or Shine.
Under Guiao, Trollano won his first ever PBA championship during the 2016 Commissioner’s Cup.
“Love na love ko yun si coach Yeng siyempre. Utang ko rin sa kanya yung career ko."
