ANTIPOLO – Don Trollano got flak from fans when he shared his thoughts on what was about go down in the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup Finals.
Shortly after San Miguel defeated Barangay Ginebra in the semifinals, Trollano predicted a 4-0 Beermen sweep of TNT.
“Four-zero kami. San Miguel always. Kailangan, kumpiyansa tayo,” answered Trollano when asked about his prediction in an interview with Abante Online

Fast forward to the Tropang 5G drawing first blood then the Beermen evening the series in Game 2, Trollano said it was just normal for fans to express their opinions.
“May kanya-kanya naman tayong opinion eh. Labas na ako doon,” he said, adding he was not about to let negative comments affect him.
Trollano was booed by TNT fans in Game 1, obviously because of his prediction, but insisted that he was not sweating any of it.
“Hindi naman. Natural lang ‘yun. Allowed naman ‘yun sa game. Pwede naman nila gawin uli ‘yun next game. Ok lang sa akin ‘yun,” he said.
Trollano's quick counter
Trollano shot just 1-of-7 from the field to finish with four points in the series opener. But he bounced back from that performance after producing 22 points on 6-of-8 shooting from behind the nearer arc to help San Miguel claim the 111-92 Game 2 win.
“’Yung mindset ko lang talaga, bumawi. Nung Game 1, pangit ‘yung laro ko. Inisip ko lang na hindi kami pwedeng maging down two games. Ginawa ko lang best ko,” he said.
“For me naman, hindi ko na iniisip ‘yun. Ginagawa ko lang trabaho ko. Kung hindi man ako maka-score, babawi ako sa ibang parte ng game,” he added.
