Samboy De Leon hit a deuce before Almond Vosotros scored the last three points to clinch the championship and the P100,000 cash prize for the telecommunication franchise.
Until De Leon and Vosotros scored on those crucial points, the Triple Giga sat on a shaky 16-15 lead with 60 seconds left in the title game.
De Leon and Vosotros finished with six points each for TNT, which was led by the seven points of Gryann Mendoza.
Guard Ping Exciminiano added two to help the team, coached by Mau Belen, clinch a second title this conference in addition to its Leg 3 honor.
Cavitex was looking to become the first team to win three straight leg championships after ruling Legs 4 and 5, respectively.
Bong Galanza led the Braves with seven points. They won the P50,000 runner-up prize.
Still, Cavitex remains a top contender for the grand finals – along with TNT – set on August 13 at the Ayala Malls Market! Market!
Earlier, Wilcon Depot pulled off its first podium finish with a 16-13 victory over Meralco.
Keith Datu imposed his presence in the middle to score eight points and lead Wilcon to third place worth P30,000.
