CJ Perez is now PBA-bound.
The do-it-all Lyceum forward has submitted his application for the upcoming 2018 PBA Rookie Draft, his agent Marvin Espiritu confirmed on Monday.
Perez, the NCAA Season 93 MVP, is expected to a Top 3 selection in this year's rookie proceedings, together with Bobby Ray Parks and Robert Bolick.
The two have yet to submit their draft applications.
The 24-year-old Pangasinense has been the driving force of the Pirates in their return trip to the NCAA Finals.
He averaged 18.7 points, 8.4 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 3.3 steals for Lyceum in the ongoing NCAA Season 94 and would like to cap off his collegiate career with a title as his side braces for a rematch against defending champion San Beda.
Perez was also the 2018 PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup Conference MVP and led his Zark's Burger-Lyceum side to a championship.
But it's not just Perez who will make the jump to the pros from Lyceum.
Steady forward MJ Ayaay has also filed his application after averaging 9.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in his final year at Intramuros.
