TONY Bishop remains confident that Barangay Ginebra still has what it takes to bounce back from a 0-2 hole in their PBA Commissioner’s Cup semifinal series against San Miguel.
The Gin Kings are facing elimination on Sunday when they take on the Beermen at the Mall of Asia Arena, having dropped a 106-96 decision last Friday that left them on the ropes.

Bishop had 25 points and nine rebounds that went for naught in the Game Three defeat. But the Ginebra import said the series isn’t over.
“Until it’s over with,” said Bishop, when asked if he's still confident that Ginebra can still bounce back in the series. “Until the fat lady sings, like we said.”
“They are up two. We have to make sure to win the next game and take it one game at a time.”
A stand-in for Justin Brownlee, Bishop pointed out that Games One and Two were close and came down to the final possessions.

“We are in every game. We are not getting blown out. We were right there. We had a couple of mistakes that we’ve got to tweak to win this game,” said Bishop.
Bishop said they need to toughen their defense as they face a deep San Miguel team that will look to close the semifinal series on Sunday.
'[SMB] has everything'
“They have everything. They have shooters. They have presence inside with June Mar [Fajardo]. They have guards who can give 20 at any given night," he said.
"We have to figure it out on defense. We have to continue to score the ball, continue to find guys open to make it easy on offense.
"On defense, we have to make sure that we are on every person,” Bishop added.
