ALMOND Vosotros hit timely threes late as TNT finally claimed its first win in the PBA on Tour, defeating Phoenix Super LPG, 96-88, on Wednesday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

Vosotros, a member of TNT’s 3x3 team, saved the Tropang GIGA with clutch shots after the game was nodded at 83-83, enabling them to pick up the win after eight games.
Phoenix fell to 3-7.
Coming off a stint with the Triple Giga in the PBA 3x3 on Tuesday, Vosotros showed no signs of fatigue, draining a three that broke that deadlock. He also increased the lead to 94-84 with another three-pointer.
Vosotros finished with 16 points, nailing four threes in the contest.
“(I’d) like to thank the management and the 3x3 coaching staff for helping us out and reinforce us. Kita niyo naman, ang laking bagay ng 3x3 players to help with our regular players,” said TNT assistant coach Sandy Arespacochaga.
Glenn Khobuntin had 21 points and seven rebounds, while Carl Bryan Cruz had 15 points including a triple that also enabled TNT to pull away in the final stretch.
Sean Manganti had 18 points for the Fuel Masters, who lost for the fourth straight time.
