THE latest revision in the trade that centered on Rey Nambatac appeared to acceptable the PBA trade committee.
Veteran big man Jewel Ponferada has been thrown into the deal to go along with guard Kib Montalbo that TNT is sending to Blackwater in exchange for the former Letran star guard.

The committee apparently suggested that the 35-year-old product of National University be added to the mix after the earlier proposal of a Nambatac for Montalbo and a second-round pick trade was thumbed down.
It came down to a choice of Ponferada as attempts to have the likes of Matt Ganuelas-Rosser, Paul Varilla, or Barkley Ebona being added to the trade didn’t suit Blackwater.
A person privy to the trade said it’s one of the few options left which are agreeable to all parties, including the trade committee.
“Yun ang puwede to make it a done deal,” said the source.

TNT team manager Jojo Lastimosa confirmed Ponferada becoming a part of the trade, but refused to say if it will finally be given the go signal.
“Yes (on Ponferada), but we’re still ironing out some details,” he said.
Nambatac just played a single conference with Blackwater since being acquired in a trade from Rain or Shine for a future first- and second-round picks.
