POY ERRAM and Glenn Khobuntin figured in a heated verbal argument in the final seconds of the first half on Sunday in their PBA 49th Season Commissioner’s Cup semifinals against Rain or Shine.
The incident happened in the final 18-second mark of the second quarter of Game 3 after Erram was called for a technical foul for continuous complaining to the referees in the close game at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

Erram continued to argue with the referee after getting the T, prompting Khobuntin to step in and try to pacify his TNT teammate.
Erram, however, took exception to the Khobuntin action, shoving him and sparking a verbal argument that prompted teammates led by import Rondae Hollis-Jefferson to step in and break the two apart.

TNT leads the best-of-seven semifinal series, 2-0, but trailed Rain or Shine, 49-43, at the half of Game 3.
The incident evoked memories of incidents between teammates, most notably between Renaldo Balkman and Arwind Santos nearly 12 years ago when Balkman choked Santos late Petron’s match against Alaska on March 8, 2013.
