TNT took a 47-40 lead at halftime in Game 7 of the PBA 50th Season Commissioner’s Cup Finals on Wednesday night at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Chris McCullough, Jordan Heading, and RR Pogoy carried the scoring load for the Tropang 5G in a low-scoring, defense-oriented first half.

Justin Brownlee and Scottie Thompson, on the other hand, set the tone for the Gin Kings but still have work to do entering the second half before a packed crowd at the MOA Arena.
McCullough waxed hot in the second quarter on his way to a 17-point, 11-rebound first half. Heading chipped in 10 points, eight of which came in the first quarter, and Pogoy added eight.

Brownlee had 14 points and seven rebounds, but has yet to make a three-pointer, while Thompson got off to a strong start with 10 points and five assists after scoring only three points in Game 6.
Troy Rosario had seven points in the first half, but has three fouls heading to the second half.
