CHICAGO - Powerhouse TNT Tropang Giga have just entered the Maverick Ahanmisi free agency derby, the player's agent, Danny Espiritu cofirmed to SPIN.ph on Wednesday night.
"Hinihintay ko lang ang pagbalik niya dito sa Pilipinas and siya na ang mag-decide kung sa TNT siya pupunta or sa SMC group," Espiritu said in a telephone interview.

As previously tweeted by SPIN.ph contributor Snow Badua, Ahanmisi has a standing offer to join a team in the San Miguel bloc after failing to come to terms on a new contract with his mother team, the Converge FiberXers.
Ahanmisi logged pedestrian numbers in the 2022-23 PBA season where he appeared in 38 games and averaged 13.7 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists per.
But he whipped a star turn during the 2023 Governor's Cup, averaging 19.9 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.08 assists and 1.7 steals a contest.
A member of the 2015 draft class, the 6-foot-2, 190-pound combo guard who is still at the peak of his athletic powers at age 32, is an unrestricted free agent.
