June Mar Fajardo took advantage of a lean TNT frontline with 20 points in the first half for the Beermen, putting Kelly Williams and Henry Galinato Jr. in foul trouble with three each in the absence of Poy Erram due to an ankle sprain.

Jericho Cruz added 12 points for San Miguel in the first half.
RR Pogoy immediately got out of his Game 2 slump after he had 14 points in the first half, while Glenn Khobuntin and Williams had 11 points apiece.

San Miguel once again asserted itself inside with 24 points in the paint, while also forcing TNT to nine turnovers in the first half, leading to 15 points.
