BRANDON Ganuelas-Rosser hurt his knee early on and didn’t return again in Game 2 of the PBA Philippine Cup quarterfinals series between Rain or Shine and TNT Sunday at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.
The Fil-Am big man went down with the injury following a fast break collision with Andrei Caracut with 3:54 left in the first quarter.
TNT hopes it’s not a case of an ACL injury as Ganuelas-Rosser is set to have the knee checked up in the hospital.
The top pick in the Season 47 draft was just six months removed from a foot injury he aggravated while playing for Gilas Pilipinas in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia.
Following the collision with Caracut, Ganuelas- Rosser grimaced in pain and was down on the playing court for a few minutes.
He did manage to stand up and took the two corresponding free throws before being substituted by Kelly Williams and TNT leading by three.
He had to be carried off the court on the way to the TNT dugout.
Ganuelas-Rosser just played close to three minutes but finished with five points and two rebounds.
