TNT looks to take a commanding lead in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup finals when it takes on San Miguel at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
Game Four is set at 6:35 p.m.
The KaTropa eye a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series following their 115-105 victory over the Beermen on Friday night.
Heroes were aplenty for TNT in that game, with Terrence Jones leading the attack and delivering 37 points, 18 rebounds and nine assists, and RR Pogoy shooting 5 of 9 from threes to contribute 29 points.
TNT active consultant Mark Dickel said there is still no reason to celebrate.
“We haven’t really done anything yet,” said Dickel. “We’ve got to come back and play another good game to give ourselves a chance.”
San Miguel coach Leo Austria said he was confident the Beermen were capable of winning Game Three, but took the blame after he wasn’t able to call timeouts during a huge TNT run.
A 24-0 run by the KaTropa in the second quarter was enough for TNT to claim the victory in Game Three.
“I think we had a good chance to win this third game but it’s our fault especially on my part. I was not able to use a lot of timeouts. But sometimes I let the players play,” Austria said.
