TROPANG TNT is tying the loose ends in a deal to have Michael Madanly as its Asian import for the PBA Governors’ Cup that opens next month.

The Syrian sniper, who played for NLEX last season, is set to arrive next week, the earliest on Wednesday, according to team manager Virgil Villavicencio.

The 35-year-old Madanly, who averaged 19.7 points with 2.7 three-point makes per game, three boards, and 2.4 assists in 30.4 minutes in 10 games for the Road Warriors, is coming over from Holland, where he is now based in the wake of the war in his native land.

The veteran shooting guard, listed at 6-5, brings his outside shooting to a TNT side that has its top wingmen in Larry Fonacier and Matt Ganuelas-Rosser still recovering from injuries.

Madanly was supposedly set to arrive this week, but there were hitches on his traveling papers.

But Villavicencio assured Madanly will come in next week.
