TITAN Ultra hopes rookie Mark Omega did not sustain a serious injury after being stretchered out of the Ninoy Aquino Stadium during the Giant Risers’ PBA Governors Cup game against Macau on Tuesday night.
The 6-foot-5 Omega fell to the floor back first after a collision with Kobey Lam while both players went for a rebound just 53 seconds into the fourth quarter.

Omega was down on the floor for more than five minutes and had to be immobilized on his way to the Manila Doctors Hospital.
He initially complained of pain in his stomach, but was responsive and moving his legs when he was taken onboard a waiting ambulance.
Nonetheless, the rest of the Giant Risers wish their rookie big all the best.
“We’ll just pray (for him). Alam naman natin kung gaano kasama yung bagsak niya,” said Titan Ultra coach Rensy Bajar.
“Sana nothing serious sa resulta. Let’s hope and pray that everything will be fine.”
Until he went down, Omega, a second-round pick of Rain or Shine in the Season 50 draft, already had six points and four rebounds and was a perfect 2-for-2 from the field and 2-of-2 from the foul line.
Bajar said it could have been the breakout game the rookie from University of Perpetual Help and Letran was waiting for.
“Go hard lagi 'yan sa practice. Napakasipag na bata. But pagdating sa game masyado lang siyang nanggigigil,” the Titan Ultra coach said.
“Breakout game na sana kaya lang inabutan nga ng aksidente,” added Bajar. “Pero sana maganda yung resulta [ng tests] para makabalik rin siya.”
